| We use only top quality meat to make our recipes. Pet food on the market today does not contain the breadth of ingredients needed to meet nutrient requirements so artificial supplements are added. There is no specific organization in Canada governing pet food. Pet foods are allowed to contain some of the worst wastes imaginable. It has been discovered that condemned animal material is being put in pet food. These are meats labeled as "4D". This means that they can legally use road kill, dead, diseased or dying animals, expired supermarket meat and also house pets that have been euthanized!
